Arnold Clyde Hearon

September 22, 1927 — December 21, 2013

Arnold Clyde Hearon age 86 of Paducah, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2013 He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Jo Russsell Hearon, two daughters, Stephanie (Mike ) Benefiel, and Pamela (Dick) Hodges. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Amy ( Jonathan ) Sietsma, Lori (Chad ) Joiner, Grant Benefiel ( fiance' Jennifer Ruth ) Heather Blackston, and two step-grandchildren, Michelle Hodges and Nathan Hodges. Arnold was blest with seven great-grandchildren.

Arnold was born September 22, 1927 in Morehouse, Missouri to Clyde Lovell Hearon and Ena Minnich Hearon. After his father's death, his mother moved to Paducah and married his beloved stepfather Charles Sexton. Arnold remained a life-long resident of Paducah. Arnold worked as an electrical salesman, retiring from Hannan Supply Company in 1989.He enjoyed many hobbies including singing in a barbershop quartet, fishing, playing golf and square dancing.  He was well known in the area as a square dance caller. Arnold loved people and loved life. He met each day with an easy manner, a genuine smile, and a funny story to share with anyone he met. He was an avid UK Wildcat basketball fan.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon till funeral hour Thursday. The family request memorial contributions be made to Korsair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
