Betty June Harper

Betty June Harper age 69 of Paducah passed away at 4:57 A.M. Wednesday December 12, 2012 at the Western Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Harper along with her surviving husband, Rev. Joel R. Harper were Pastors of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. Besides her husband she leaves behind two sons, Timothy Wayne Harper of Hawaii and Michael David Harper of Benton. Three brothers, Jesse Baker of Benton, Michael Baker of Lone Oak, and Bill Baker of Salem. Two sisters, Emma Connor of Symsonia and Naomie Baker of Murray, Ky. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jamie Baker and Emmaline Jones Baker.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Swan officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. today at the funeral home.

 I am just finding out today that she passed away. I am so saddend to hear this. She was a wonderful woman and a dear friend. Loved her so very much.To the family, I know you all miss her greatly and prayers for comfort.

 Sis Betty will be greatly MISSED by many!!!! She was a vey dear friend. She and I had many long talks and always ended our conversations with I love you and don't you ever forget it. I would tell her that and she would tell me the same thing..Sis Betty and I had a very special bond. She also had a special bond with my mother. My mother loved Sis Betty. If we are able to know each other by name in Heaven, then she will be talking to alot of her family and friends. She no longer has pain nor will ever know any more sorrows. I love you and will miss you, Sis Betty! Your friend....Sis Evelyn

 I AM SADDENED BY THE LOSS OF SIS BETTY ..BUT SHE LEFT A FOOTPRINT OF GUIDANCE AND LOVE BEHIND. SHE SHARED HER QUALITIES AND COMFORT TO ME AND MY FAMILY,PICKED ME UP WHEN I THOUGHT I COULD NOT GO AND SHOWED SYMPATHY TO THOSE IN NEED.SHE WAS A WOMEN AFTER GODS HEART.I AM THANKFUL FOR EVERY THING SHE IS AND WAS..THANK HER FOR THE SPIRITUAL MOTHER OF ABUNDANT LIFE PENTECOSTAL CHURCH..WE WILL MISS HER AND NEVER FORGET WHAT SHE MEANS TO MY LIFE..LOVE HER SO MUCH..

 I love you Joe, David and Wayne. Betty meant so much to me. I love her and miss her so much. She would always tell me "I'm you're FAVORITE AUNT" and I would say yes Betty....but really ya'll THAT WAS THE TRUTH!! She was the only aunt I did anything with over my entire life. My heart holds all memories of her.."Michelle Ann"...I can just hear her saying that.She was a TRUE friend to me,a great mother, and a great wife-GENUINE through and through. I don't know what to say to you guys, except I love you and I'm sorry you are hurting.
