Camelia D. Knight, known affectionately as Camie, passed away on June 11, 2026, at Western Baptist. Born on December 26, 1959, in Wyatt, Missouri, Camie lived a life marked by deep affection for her family and the simple joys she treasured.
Camie was a woman who did the best she could whenever she was able. She found joy in walking throughout her neighborhood; it brought her peace and a time to see the world around her. Camie also loved talking on her phone, sharing countless conversations with those dear to her. Music was a cherished part of her life; she was an avid fan of Garth Brooks and Journey. Additionally, she admired actor Patrick Swayze.
Her proudest accomplishments were her family—her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Camie’s legacy is most vividly seen in the lives of her daughter Ashely Faughn (Shane) of Paducah, her grandchildren Madison, Alexis, Kaileigh, and Arianna Strawser, and her great-grandson, Titus. She was also survived by sister Hilda Jonardi (Rick), and several nieces and nephews Wayne Hoffman, Kristina Carden, Jennifer Lasher and Mandy, Shanna, Bobby and Clay Beasley.
Camie was preceded in death by her parents, David and Louise Beasley, her brothers Dane Beasley and David “Howard” Beasley, her half-brother James Sullivan and her sister Patricia Hoffman. Their memories live on in her heart and in the stories shared by those she loved.
Camie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
