Carl "Pete" Campbell

Carl "Pete" Campbell, 61, a highly skilled small engine repairman and woodworking enthusiast, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024, at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, Kentucky. Born and raised in Benton, Kentucky, Carl was a beloved member of his community who touched the lives of many with his warm heart and generous spirit.

Born on September 4, 1962, to the late Bobby Sr. and Shirley Campbell, Carl grew up surrounded by love and support from his family. Carl was of the Christian faith. He had an unparalleled love for fishing that could rival even the most seasoned anglers. Another thing that truly brought joy to Carl's life was sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

He is survived by his son, Sky Campbell of Paducah; one daughter, Brandi Campbell of Paducah; his brother, Joe Campbell of Murray, Ky; two sisters, Sherrie Hines (Johnny) of Paducah and Sandra Campbell of Paducah; and five grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his world.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Campbell.
