Christopher K. Pugh, age 51 of Marion, Kentucky, a beloved member of his community and cherished family man, went home to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 26, 2026, at his residence. Born on May 9, 1974, in Paducah, Kentucky, Christopher dedicated the majority of his working career to the coal mining industry, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his loved ones.
Christopher was not only known for his hard work but also for his loving nature. He had an unwavering affection for his family and his dogs, who brought immense joy to his life. His fur babies, Socks and Braxton, were a testament to his gentle spirit and caring heart.
Among his proudest accomplishments was a pivotal moment in his life on May 8, 1994, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. This spiritual rebirth was foundational to his identity and guided him throughout his life.
Christopher leaves behind his devoted mother, Mary Pugh, and a close-knit group of friends who were like brothers to him, Jeff Priest and William Grubbs. He is also survived by many beloved cousins who held a special place in his heart.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including the memory of his two daughters, Lilian Pugh and Kaylyn Pugh, who have predeceased him, along with his grandparents, Virgil and Agnes Pugh, and many aunts and uncles.
As we reflect on the life of Christopher K. Pugh, we celebrate the memory of a man who worked hard, loved deeply, and lived with purpose. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
