Deborah Grace Houston, age 73 of Almo, Kentucky died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Herbert and Hedy Walker. She was a Registered Nurse and retired after 50 years of healthcare. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Denise Donelson; brother: Jim Wilkinson.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Larry Houston; daughters: Deneshia Wood, Mandy Houston, and Mary Reker; her sister: Kay Deicken of California.
She leaves behind four wonderful grandchildren: Emily Wood of Bozeman, Montana, Adam Burk (Roberta), Daniel Houston, and Abigail Houston, all of Murray, Kentucky. She also has a special nephew: James Walker (Sarah) of MIssouri. She has an advisor in all things technical, and the father of her first grandchild: Michael Wood of Bozeman, Montana. She also has two beloved friends that accepted her just as she was: Lanie Cornwell, and Valerie Morris. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
