Delois Ellen Smith

Delois Ellen Christian Smith, age 83 of Paducah died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.  She was born the daughter of the late Parker Christian and Ina Williams Christian.  She loved her children and grandchildren and made many wonderful memories with each of them.  She worked as a sitter for the elderly, and was of the Baptist faith. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah.  Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her son: Roy Smith (Karen) of Paducah; her daughter: Julie McElwayne (Kevin) of Paducah; her grandchildren: Jason Hicks, Tessa Brown (John), Justin Hicks (Kristy), and Renee Reynolds; her eight great grandchildren, and her two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Marvin Lynn Reynolds; her brothers: Elvis Lodell Christian, and Leon Christian; and her sister: Brenda Robinson.
