Earl Johnson

Earl Johnson age 90 of Paducah passed away Saturday February 22, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Ballard County , KY. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army, where he served in the European and the Pacific theaters. He served under General Patton in the 1303 engineering regiment of the third army. He is survived by loving wife of 61 years Allie Johnson. His daughter, Aleshia Cron of Paducah and son, Larry Johnson of Paducah. Eight Grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Powers, one brother Walter Johnson and his parents, Moman Henry Johnson and Gladys Freeman Johnson. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Drowning officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. till funeral hour.
