Ervin J. Riley, 76, of Paducah died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his home. Mr. Riley was of the Baptist faith and a member of Heartland Baptist Church in Paducah. He loved animals and enjoyed porch sitting and spending time with his family. Ervin was born the son of the late Ervin Lawson and Ola Mae Riley.
He is survived by his wife, Adele Riley of Paducah; one son, Tommy Riley (Jeanne) of Stafford, VA; two daughters, Andi Carlin (Greg) of Sturgis, Michigan and Denise Smith (Matt) of Brooklyn, Mississippi; one brother, Ray Lynn Riley (Cheri) of Paducah; one sister, Marilyn Hines (Dickie); seven grandchildren, Allison Carlin, Brandon Erway, Nicole Cavadias, Scott Williams, Samantha Pitti (Emilio), Jered Williams (Lennzee), and Megan Riley; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Cavadias and Riley Cavadias; sister-in-law, Jennifer Noles and brother-in-law, Michael Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanna Kay Riley; two brothers, Ervin Lawson Riley Jr. and Gerald Riley; and one sister, Rita Powell.
Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah, with Pastor Russ Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Riley Cemetery in Golo, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home and Thursday from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.
