Gary Deon James

Gary D. James, 83, of Paducah died Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Paducah. Gary was born the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn James. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Paducah. Gary enjoyed camping, reading, playing pool at the senior center, and watching Westerns. 

Gravesides Services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 1:30pm at Scott Cemetery in West Paducah with Bro. Brent Easton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00am till 1:00pm at Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home. 

Gary is survived by two sons, Barkley James (Heidi) of Louisville, and Stewart James of Paducah; one sister, Sheron Elrod (Wilford Davenport) of Paducah; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy James; and one brother, Dan James.
