Gerald D Speer

Gerald D. Speer, age 81 of Paducah died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at McCracken Nursing and Rehab.  He was born the son of the late Willard Samuel Speer and the late Wilma Knupp Speer.  He retired as an electrician at Martin Marietta. 

Private funeral services and burial are planned.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife: Norma Speer of Paducah; his sons Dennis Speer of Benton, Sam Speer (Julie) of Paducah, and Kyle Speer also of Paducah; ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Frieda Stufflebeam, Donna Piper, and Connie Speer. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the charity of donors choice.
