Glenn Munro age 75 of Reidland passed away April 21, 2013 at 3:59 A.M. at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Munro was a native of Sault Ste Marie, MI. He retired after 34 years of service from the Louisville district of the Army Corps of Engineers. during that time he attended many schools to enhance his training, as a Construction Representative. During his youth in Michigan he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He tied his own flies and even carved his own duck decoys. He enjoyed all types of woodworking, and working in his yard. He always enjoyed a good joke or a story. He loved all animals, especially his dog and three cats. Mr. Munro was a 10 year Veteran of the Michigan National Guard, Bridge Co. 1437. He was a  member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years the former Phyllis M. Drouin Munro, whom he married on August 30, 1958 at the St. Mary's Pro Cathedral in Sault Ste. Marie MI. One daughter, Glenda Munro Arant ( David) of Paducah, Kentucky. Two sons, Kevin Munro of Dallas ,TX. and Doug Munro ( Yania ) of Driftwood, TX. Two grandsons, Josh Munro of Dallas, TX and Eann Munro of Driftwood, TX. One Step brother, Tom Bell ( Debbie )  Lake Monte, GA. One step sister, Ada Bell Zimmerman ( John ) of Sault Ste. Marie, MI., One uncle, Bill Piche ( Marie) of Sault Ste Marie, MI. One aunt, Marion Piche Snider of Barrington, Il. One nephew, Chris Kelly( Kim ) of Bartlett, TN. One niece, Sharon Kelly Priest ( Mark ) of Grand Junction CO. One great nephew, Matthew Kelly of TN. and four great nieces, Sarah Kelly of TN., Kellen Priest of CO., Micha Priest of Co. and Emma Bloom of TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn J. Munro and Margaret A. Piche Munro Bell, his step father, Leonard D. Bell, sister, Marsha Munro Kelly, brother-in law, John Kelly and his niece Cathy Kelly Brown. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon Monday April 29, 2013 at the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Prayers with public visitation will began at 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 28, 2013 at the Keeling Family Funeral Home,  visitation will continue till 5:00 P.M.  Memorials may be given to the Lourdes Hospice 2855 Jackson Street Paducah, KY. 42003 or to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
