Jason Michael Aranjo, 48, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1978, in Taunton, Massachusetts.

Above all else, Jason treasured his family and the love they shared. He held a special place in the hearts of those closest to him, and his passing leaves a void that words cannot fully express. Though his time with his loved ones was far too short, the memories they created together will remain a lasting reminder of the love and connections that meant so much. Jason was also a devoted New England Patriots fan, proudly cheering on his favorite team through every victory and defeat. His love for the Patriots was just one of the many things that made him who he was and will be fondly remembered by those who knew him best.

Jason is survived by his wife and best friend, Alison Aranjo of Brookport, IL; his son, Taylor Aranjo of Taunton, MA; his daughters, Jullia Pierce and her husband Ross of Berkley, MA, and Knickole Aranjo of Brookport, IL; his sisters, Kyrstle Hooben of Taunton, MA, and Amanda Hooben and Victoria Hooben, both of Raynham, MA; and his beloved granddaughter, Summer Rose Pierce, who brought him the special joy of being a grandfather. He is also survived by his father, Lawrence "Larry" Hooben of Raynham, MA; his mother and step-father, Christina "Tina" and Mike Lavigne of Taunton, MA; his Nana; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left to cherish his memory are his companion, Shanna Carper, and her children, Nolan and Conner, who were an important part of his life.

He was preceded in death by several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other cherished members of his extended family.

While Jason's passing brings great sorrow to those who loved him, his memory will live on through the family he held dear and the lives he touched along the way. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of those who knew him.
