Jason C. Held

Jason C. Held, 43, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Yamaguchi, Japan. Born on September 9, 1982, in Hollywood, Florida, Jason lived a life characterized by devotion to his family, deep friendships, and a passion for pursuing his interests with joy and integrity.

Jason’s enthusiasm for life was evident in everything he did. He enjoyed riding motorcycles—a pursuit that spoke to his adventurous spirit—and golfing, a pastime that gave him an opportunity to relax and connect with friends and loved ones. More than anything, Jason cherished the moments spent with his family; especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret "Maggie" Held, who stood by his side through life’s triumphs and challenges. His mother, Evelyn Kyriazis of Paducah; three sons, Larry "Daniel" Parker (Randa), Jordan Vogt (Emily), and Jaylen Vogt, all residing in Paducah; his brothers, Justin Smith (Megan) of TX, Mark Smith of MT, and Josh Smith of AZ; and his cherished grandchildren: Allie, Casen, Easton, and Emma Parker. Each of them carries forward his warmth, curiosity, and zest for life. To his extended family and circle of friends, Jason leaves a legacy defined by laughter, connection, and enduring affection.
