Jerry D Brown

Jerry D. Garnett Brown, 79, of Paducah died Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his home. He was owner/operator of a trucking business. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Interlachen, FL and a member of Melrose Masonic Lodge #89 in Keystone Heights, FL. 

Survivors include two sons, Jerry D. Brown, Jr., Tennessee; Walter D. Brown, Lemont, IL; daughter, Joy J. Brown, Tennessee; step son, Harland C. Lester, Smithland, KY; brothers, W. D. Brown, Interlachen, FL; Franklin D. Brown, Smithland, KY; Charles H. Brown, Smithland, KY; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one step grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Queen Brown; parents, James D. Brown and Melissie Jane Garnett Brown; daughter, Julia A.  Lawson; brother, Floyd W. Brown. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home, 2410 Jackson St. Paducah, KY. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Masonic Rites will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
