Jerry Joseph Clark, 81, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on September 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of service, family, friendship, and love.
Jerry was a proud Vietnam veteran, honorably serving his country as an engineer during his military career. His service was a source of great pride throughout his life. Following his military service, Jerry built a career in the railroad industry, where he worked faithfully until his retirement.
Jerry had a genuine love for life and especially appreciated its simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and family, sharing stories and laughter, and simply enjoying the company of those around him. He also had a special love for cats, whose companionship brought him great happiness over the years. He will be remembered for the friendships he made, the memories he created, and the love he had for those closest to him.
He is survived by his daughter, Shana (Greg) Terry of Paducah; his grandsons, Joseph Clark and Dean Alvey; his great granddaughter, Aria Clark; his brother, Gene (Emily) Bondurant of Panama City Beach, FL.; and his sister, Beverly (Boyce) Pickett of La Center; along several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Mae Clark O’ Bryant and father Harry Clark; his son Jerry Brien Clark; along with three brothers, Guy Jenkins, Larry Jenkins and James Clark.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home, 2410 Jackson Street, Paducah, KY 42003.
Jerry will be remembered as a proud American Veteran, a loving father and grandfather, a beloved brother, and a loyal friend. His 81 years were filled with service, hard work, family, friendship, fishing, laughter, and a true appreciation for life. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories Jerry created and the lives he touched will ensure that his spirit and legacy live on.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The McGangsters in honor of Jerry’s special love for cats.
