Kenneth Cope

Kenneth Cope, age 69 of Hickory, died January 23, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah.  He was born the son of the late Clay Cope and the late Katherine Blankenship Cope.  He worked for Paducah City Water and had also worked at Wayne Supply.  He was a member of Elva Baptist Church, a member of the Jackson Purchase Friends of Bluegrass, and was also a member of the Cope Brothers Bluegrass Band.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Mike Littrell, Bro. Randall Cox and Bro. Ferris Sahawneh officiating.  Burial will follow in Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home and 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, January 28, 2018.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Cope of Hickory; his son: Mark Cope (Shannon) of Hickory; his daughter: Kathy Holder (Brian) of Hickory; his brothers: Carroll Wayne Cope (Faye) of Paducah and Gary Cope (Sue) of Calvert City; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Dianna Knigh; and his brothers: Larry Cope and Barry Cope.
