Kenneth Allen Edwards, aged 85, of Boaz, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at Baptist Health of Paducah. Born on January 16, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, Kenneth lived a full and impactful life dedicated to both his family and his community.
A proud Navy veteran, Kenneth served with honor, embodying the values of duty and commitment. He continued to uphold these principles throughout his career, which included significant roles such as working for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and retiring from the Army Corps of Engineers, and later engaging in finance at Allen's Auto Sales. Most notably, he was the owner and operator of Ken Edwards Appraisal Company, where he made invaluable contributions to the field.
Kenneth was a devoted member of Bellview Baptist Church, where he found both solace and community. His faith was important to him, and he was actively involved in church activities.
In addition to his professional achievements, Kenneth had a longstanding passion for sports and vehicles. He played basketball at Bethel University and for the U.S. Navy. His love for Nascar and Harley motorcycles was a testament to his adventurous spirit, and he found joy in sharing these interests with friends and family. Kenneth also had a deep affection for his animals, which further demonstrated his caring nature and vibrant personality.
His greatest pride and joy came from his family, particularly his daughter Lesslie Bigham of Florida, whom he loved immensely. Kenneth is also survived by his beloved wife, Terry Edwards, along with his grandchildren Jesse Kidd, Julie Kidd, and Daniel Bigham, and great-grandchildren Jaelynn Gorham and Ezra Bigham.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, John Edwards and Lady May Mollins. His legacy will forever live on through the lives he touched and the memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held on December 16, 2025, at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery in Boaz, Kentucky, starting at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow. Bro. Bob Whitter will be officiating. Kenneth’s warm heart and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
