Laura Gene Mendiola

Laura Gene Mendiola, age 53 of Paducah died Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Calloway County.  She was born the daughter of the late Doyle Singleton and the late Mildred Ferguson.  She was of the Christian faith.

A Celebration of Life Memorial  Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Lone Oak Church of Christ.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her sons: Ken John Mendiola (Lilly) of Symsonia, Ken Christopher Mendiola (McKaylee Allen) of Kevil, Ken Edward Mendiola, and Ken George Mendiola; her daughters: Isabella Mendiola (Kevin Mason) of Paducah, Ishabella Mendiola (Ross Burton) of Paducah; her sisters: Mary Ferguson (Scott) of Tennessee, Sherry Ferguson of Colorado, and Carolyn Ferguson of Tennessee; and her ten grandchildren: La'karrion, La'kendra, La'kendrick; John Michael, Maverick Jacob, Ezekiel George, Adrian Ben, Ava, Ariana, and Aliyah; and four bonus grandchildren:  Kesawn Mason, Keaton Mason, Trinley Mason, and Treslyn Mason.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Dewayne Ferguson; and her step-father: Eddie Ferguson.
