Lynda Jones Timmons

Lynda Jones Timmons, 77, of Paducah, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at her home in Paducah, Kentucky. Born on August 17, 1948, in Paducah, Lynda was a beacon of kindness and generosity throughout her life. Her unwavering commitment to charity and philanthropy defined her character; she devoted much of her time and resources to numerous organizations, including donkey rescues and schools for Native American children, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of many she never personally met.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Lee Jones (Misuk) of Huntsville, Alabama, and her grandson, Zachary Timmons of West Paducah, Kentucky. 

Lynda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marshall Jr. and Robbie Jones; her son, Jason Jewel Timmons; her two daughters, Carey L. Timmons and Rebecca Timmons; and her loyal Furbaby, Victor, who provided her with companionship and joy.

Her zest for life and her compassionate heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her. No services are scheduled at this time.
