Maggie Owens

Maggie Owens age 94 of Paducah passed away Sunday May 3, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center at the Lourdes Hospital.

Mrs. Owens was a native of Clear Springs,  Kentucky and was  born to her parents, the late Dewey Harris and Eunice Tynes Harris on August 1, 1920. She was a  member of the Gospel Assembly Church of Paducah. She is survived , by her daughter, Wanda June Sluder of Paducah. Three grandchildren, Lisa Driver and husband Barry of West Paducah, Rhonda Viniard and husband Jimmie of Dublin, KY. and Doug Sluder and wife Remona of Paducah. Eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband , Icy Owens.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 6, 2015  at the Gospel Assembly Church with the Rev. Encil Edmonds and Rev. Mike Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family today from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church Wednesday morning where friends may call from 9:00 a.m. till funeral hour.
