Michael A. Cron

Michael A. Cron, age 73, passed away on September 27, 2026, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was born on October 8, 1952 in Paducah, Kentucky, a place that remained part of the story of his life. He was of the Catholic faith.

Michael will be remembered for the joy he found in the simple and meaningful things that mattered most to him. He loved the outdoors, his dogs, his friends, and, most importantly, his family. Those who knew him will remember a man whose life was grounded in the people and companions he cherished, and whose presence brought warmth to those around him.

He is survived by his nephews, Jacob Hyde of Paducah, Josh Hyde (Nikki) of Reidland, Casey Cron of Nashville, and Neil Cron of Paducah; his nieces, Julia Hyde and Nina Cron both of Paducah; his sister-in-law, Aleshia Cron; and his brother-in-law, Joe Hyde; his great nephew, Dylan Hawes and his great nieces, Emily & Katie Hyde. They carry forward the memory of a beloved uncle, family member, and friend, and will continue to hold close the many moments they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl and Ruth Alma Cron; by his brother, Kevin Cron; and by his sister, Rebecca Hyde.

Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be remembered with love for the affection he gave so freely to those closest to him.
