Michael "Mike" Lee Jackson

Michael "Mike" Lee Jackson, 63, of Clinton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2026, surrounded by family at his home. Mike was born on May 22, 1963, the son of the late Charles Billy and Alma Faye Jones.

Mike was a steadfast presence for his family and friends, cherishing life in the community in which he was both born and passed. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan who faithfully cheered on the Wildcats.

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Tobias Smith (Whitney) of Paducah; his daughter, Jessica Denise McClure of Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers, Billy Wayne Jones (Connie) of Clinton, KY, and Chris Jones of Mayfield, KY; his sister Nancy Johnson (Mark) of Iowa; eight grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by three brothers Jerry Jackson, Chester Jackson, and Terry Jones.

Mike will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his loyalty as a friend, and his enduring connection to the place he called home. Those whose lives he touched will carry forth his memory with gratitude and respect.
