Mildred Irene Smith Bishop

d. January 12, 2014

Mildred ( Millie ) Irene Smith Wadley Bishop age 88, of Paducah passed away Sunday January 12, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at her residence. She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple for 42 years, a member of  Ladies Never Grow Old, and a former Choir member. She was a retired clerk from Albritton Pharmacy, and a member of the Auxiliary of the Gideons. She was an avid bowler of Cardinal Lanes. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She carried her beauty from the inside out. She lived out her faith in her daily life and her priorities were Jesus first, then her family and friends. She taught each of us that  there is no defining line where family ends and friends begin, that we love the same. She left a legacy of love, forgiveness, patience and morals that are above average. She prayed continually for those she loved and never let her praying knees get lazy. She should've been in the Hall of Fame for Mommas because she was one of Creation's most unique and precious pearl. She is survived by her husband, Billy Bishop; daughter, Reta Jane( Bill ) Houser; sons, Wayne ( Carol ) Wadley of Port Orange, FL. Gary Wadley of Carrara, Queensland, Australia and Tommy ( Michelle ) Wadley; brothers Bill Smith, Butch Smith of South Carolina; sisters Evelyn Jeffords, Mable Rust, Nancy Adams; grandchildren, Denise ( Scott ) Smith, Wayne Wadley, Shane ( Kim ) Wadley, Lee Wadley, Ashlee Houser of Lexington, T J Wadley, Jenny Wadley, Billy Wadley.
