Nancy Ann Bates

Nancy Ann Bates, 67, of Vienna, IL, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. Nancy was born January 11, 1958, the daughter of the late June Lampert and Vicki Lampert Smith.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Christopher Smith (Shannon) of Paducah, and Glenn Wright (Tamara) of Buncombe, IL; one brother, Gary Lampert; one sister, Rose Ren; nine grandchildren, Tristan Wright, Tyler Wright, Brianna Wright, Thomas Wright, Aiden Wright, Isabella Wright, Logan Smith, Dalton Smith, and Keely Smith; and two great-grandchildren, John and Lucas Boyett.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Myers and Kay Lampert.
