Nelda G. Timmons Polley

Nelda G. Timmons Polley, age 67, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. She was born on September 27, 1958, in Paducah.

Nelda will be remembered for the many years of hospitality, friendly smiles, and dedication as she took pride to serve the patrons through her management position at Hardees on Broadway in Paducah for about 20 years.

Above all, Nelda’s life was centered on her family and cherished fur babies. She is survived by her son, Thomas Timmons (Beth) of Paducah, and her daughter, Lisa Cavitt (Jason) of Benton. She also leaves behind her brother, Jerry Garrett of Paducah; her sisters, Gladys Marie Helton of Paducah and Elda Garrett of Paducah

Her memory will continue to live on in her grandchildren, Audrey Timmons, Ashley Smith Langdon (Andy), Alex Smith (Ocean), Zack Timmons (Ashley), Eryka Timmons (Nate), Lakyn Timmons, Cameron Timmons, Kelsea Timmons, William Baker, Kayla Cavitt, and Chase Cavitt. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Colton Timmons, Camden Woodall, Chloey Woodall, Ansley Langdon, Aria Langdon, Marloe Smith, Jackson Tubbs, Jameson Tubbs, and William Baker Jr., each of whom carries forward a part of her legacy.

In addition to her parents Howard and Rosie Garrett, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Timmons; her brothers, Bubby Garrett and Michael Garrett; and her sisters, Kathy Ashley and Linda Blair all of Paducah,Ky

Nelda will be remembered with love by all who knew her, and her family will continue to cherish the memories they shared with her. Her life touched many, and her presence will be deeply missed.
