Paula Zulkowsky

Paula Lee Zulkowky of Paducah, KY, formerly of rural Princeton, passed away shortly after midnight Friday June 13, 2014, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilation in Paducah, KY of natural causes.  She was 65 years old, born November 2, 1948, in Princeton.

She is surved by her daughter, Jo Zulkowsky-Cook, and her son-in-law, Daniel E. Cook, business owners of Cook's Computer Solutions LLC and Jo's Baskets and Gifts in Paducah, KY.  She is also surved by two brothers, Vernon Kaye and John Miller of rural Manlius.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Zulkowsky, and her parents, Virgil and Billie Miller.

Mrs. Zulkowsky was retired and had moved to Paducah in January 2014 to be near her daughter and son-in-law.  She spent her time in Paducah visiting with residents at Jackson Oaks Retirement Community and making new friends.  She used her leisure time doing a variety of hobbies, including painting, making crafts, flower gardening, reading books and daily newspaper.  She volunteered for different Bureau County Illinois Extension and 4H activities, including judg and sitting on the Extension Unit Council.  She also loved caring for her cats.  She was married to Stanley for 46 years.  During this time, they enjoyed many vacations together to visit family, including Stanley's family in Pennsylvania and thier daughter.  Monetary donations may be made to the family at 404 Broadway Street  Paducah, KY  42001.  Donations received will be sent to various carities at the discretion of the family. 

Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 from noon to 2pm at the Keeling Family Funeral Home in Paducah, KY, with the funeral at 2pm.  There will be no burial.  The body will be cremated.
