Peggy Ann Moody, 92, of Stewart, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Shelbyville, KY. Peggy was born July 9, 1933, the daughter of the late Roy Lee Bryant Sr. and Lena Mae (Brewer) Bryant in Paducah, KY. She was a beloved figure in her community, known for her warm spirit and devotion to her family. As a woman of the Baptist faith, Peggy found solace and strength in her beliefs and cherished the moments spent with loved ones.

Peggy was well-loved by her family, leaving behind her two sons, David (Jeanne) Moody of LaGrange, KY, and Mark (Lois) Moody of Brandenburg, KY; her two brothers, Phil (Shirley) Bryant of Princeton, KY, and Roy Lee Bryant Jr. of Gilbertsville, KY; three sisters, Glenn Keeling, Grace Harris, and Janice Rose, all of Paducah; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leslie "LeRoy" Moody; and five sisters: Betty Sutton, Abbey Bowman, Mary Lou Hodge, Martha Sue Bradley, and Brenda Roach.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home, located at 2410 Jackson Street, Paducah, KY, 42003. Graveside services will follow that day at New Liberty Cemetery, 1902 TN-119, Buchanan, TN, beginning at 1:30 pm.

Peggy Ann Moody will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Moody family.
