Randolph Leon Kester

Randolph L. Kester, age 75 of Danville, Illinois died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah.  He was born the son of the late Leon Kester and the late Bernice Dorsett Redifer.  He was retired from Hyster Lift Trucks.  He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed long drives, and loved being out in nature.  He was of the Christian faith.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his sons:  Todd Kester (Dawn) of Danville, Illinois, and Troy Kester of Danville, Illinois; his daughters: Kelly Wicoff (Brian) of Carbondale, Illinois, and Nina Whitman of Savoy, Illinois; his brother: Barry Kester of Danville, Illinois; his former wife of 25 years: Ramona Kester Logan; his grandchildren: Cory Kester, Hannah Kester, Holly Kester, Mackenzie Wicoff (Joshua Mocilan), Rylie  Wicoff, Synthia Pruitt, Blaise Whitman, and Leo  Whitman; and his great grandchildren: Lela Kester, Anthony Pruitt, and Anna  Belle Pruitt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: John Kester; and his sisters: Nancy Jones and Laura Davis.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I only met him one time but he seemed very kind, and I have known his brother Barry from childhood and was a good friend of his sister Nancy.
