Bro. Mayes and his family were a true blessing to the Dawson Springs, KY assembly while they were here. I loved talking to each of them and playing in the band with the two dear ladies. Brother Mayes taught me a lesson I will never forget and changed the direction of my life. He as well as his wife and daughter were always kind and had sweet spirits. I will miss him as I know our church will also. He loved God with his whole heart and it showed through his words and actions to everyone. God comfort his dear family.
