When I got the news that Rickie "didn't make it" - in the words of my Auntie - it seemed my whole world paused and I was taken back to much simpler times of playing around in Noble Park (both when it was open and we should be there and when it was closed and we should not have been in the bumper car ride, taking turns pushing each other around with Phil and Stevie), or playing Wiffle Ball or King of the Hill behind the house. All good times. Rickie was so full of life and always carved out his own path. I just has no idea that his path would end so randomly in the front yard of a house in Louisville, KY. It just doesn't add up, it doesn't make sense. Rest in peace cousin, until we see each other again. Much love.
