Goldie Davis

Sarah Golda "Goldie" Davis, 81, of Paducah passed away Friday, December 5, 2025. Goldie loved gardening, canning and feeding the hummingbirds in her garden. 

She started her career as a dental assistant and eventually owned her own business, The Pool Shop. After The Pool Shop business was sold, she worked until retirement at the Reidland Middle School. She also loved working with LaNita Flanary for many years at Flanary Veterinary Clinic in Paducah. 

She was born to the late James Monroe Dalton and Ethel Ardella Hall Dalton and is preceded by her late husband, Marvin Brown Davis, Jr. 

Goldie Davis is survived by one son, Anthony "Tony" B. Davis of Calvert City, KY; one daughter, Robin Smith (Jerry) of Kevil, KY; her brother, James Fonda Dalton (Mindy) of Pulaski, VA, her twin sister, Gloria Misner, and one grandson, Nathan Smith.
