Sharon Diane Jones

Sharon Diane Jones,79, of Symsonia passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. Sharon was born on October 1, 1946, in San Fernando, California, the daughter of the late George Arthur and June Darlene Seymour.

Sharon was a devoted member of Gospel Mission Worship Center in Paducah. She found joy and contentment in life's simple pleasures, especially crocheting and tending to her garden. She took great pride in caring for her roses, finding peace and fulfillment in watching them bloom. These cherished pastimes reflected her patient spirit, creative heart, and deep appreciation for the beauty of God's creation.

Sharon's memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her son, Spencer Thompson of Tucson, AZ; her daughter, Tammy Thompson of Greenfield, MO; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her cherished friend and devoted caregiver, Debbie Sims of Boaz, KY.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Jones.

While Sharon Diane Jones will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, grace, and gentle spirit forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Sharon's family invites all who knew and loved her to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gospel Mission Worship Center, 6905 Benton Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
