William E. Gallagher

William E. Gallagher, 87, of Paducah, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah. William was of the Catholic faith.

One of William's greatest passions was bowling, and he was a respected member of the Paducah Bowling Association. He found joy in spending time with fellow bowlers and cherished the camaraderie they shared. In addition to bowling, William also loved fishing and hunting, immersing himself in nature and finding solace in its beauty.

A funeral service to honor William's life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00pm at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Ford Cemetery in Benton, KY. The family will be receiving friends and relatives for visitation from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

William leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patsy Gallagher of Paducah; two sons, Mark of KY and Markey of CA; two daughters, Christine of CA and Pattie of FL; two sisters, Sissy and Patty, both residing in MI; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren whose presence brought him immense happiness.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Alexander Gallagher; his mother, Alida Gallagher; one son, Billy; and three sisters, Louise, Barbara, and Cathy.
