Gary, I am sorry to be contacting you in this context. We'd be much more comfortable sharing memories of the good ol' days or looking through one-another's work. It is sad to hear of the passing of yet another friend's parent, and I know the pain you're going through now. I also know that your dad lived a long life and I'm sue one he lived well. We have been friends for a very long time, so I'm also comfortable is saying that your dad did a good job as a father. When we come to the end of our days, to have lived well, loved well and been loved well is no mean accomplishment. We share so much in our lives that when we lose those so very close, the feeling of being alone can be overwhelming. I hope you know that you have many, many friends who are thinking of you and praying for you. I'm thankful to be one of them. Buckle down, Tornado!!! David

Willie was one of two who stood when Marine Corps veterans were honored at church. He and Jessie Dowell were the two. He'll be missed.
