LeRoy Moody

June 27, 1933 — December 28, 2020

LeRoy Moody, 87, of Stewart, TN died Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Moody was born of the late Elijah Ray and Lou Leslie Pearl Moody. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Moody of Stewart, TN; two sons, David Moody (Jeanne) of LaGrange, KY, and Mark Moody (Lois) of Brandenburg, KY; three sisters, Martha Landrum of Paris, TN, Elenora Adkins of Florida, and Oneida Moody of Lansing, MI; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his four brothers, James Moody, Ronald Moody, Earl Moody, and Nathan Moody; and six sisters, Ann Hoffman, Helen Evans, Geraldine Williams, Wilma Moody, Elna Rae Moody, and Velma Davis.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00PM at New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah, KY.

Keeling and Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
